Research & Audit
The Clinic for Foot and Ankle Surgery regularly assesses patients through questionnaires and clinical assessments pre- and post-treatment. This constant auditing of our results is a vital key to ensure the highest of standards are maintained for our patients.
We are actively involved in several research studies based both in Hampshire and at Imperial College, London. We remain committed to being at the forefront of improving surgical techniques. Examples of such studies include the long-term follow-up of total ankle replacement surgery, the new techniques for the treatment of Achilles tendon ruptures and new methods for post-operative analgesia. Patients are occasionally contacted to assist with follow-up studies and audits and their participation is invaluable to ensure best-practice is maintained. If you require any further information regarding on-going projects please do not hesitate to contact us.
